Take a step back in time as you journey by steam train through the Connecticut River Valley dotted with old, New England homes, quaint villages, meadows, salt marshes and hills. Cruise on the scenic Connecticut River past landmarks of the Riverboat Era and brilliant fall foliage. Visit the birthplace of Broadway musicals and the home of American Impressionism. Come experience the many colors, culture and history of the Connecticut River Valley.

- Visit the Florence Griswold Museum, Old Lyme, CT; enjoy a guided tour of the Griswold House and self- guided tour of the galleries and gardens.
- Guided tour of the Mark Twain House and Museum, Hartford, CT.
- Ride the Valley Railroad Steam Train on a 19th century journey through the Connecticut River Valley
- Cruise the Connecticut River on an authentic old time riverboat from Deep River Landing.
- Explore the grounds of Gillette Castle State Park. Walk the paths and trails surrounding the medieval style castle for scenic views overlooking the Connecticut River.
- Guided tour of historic Goodspeed Opera House
- Student-led walking tour of Yale University.
