The residents of Central Pennsylvania recently recognized Boscov’s Travel as “Reader’s Choice” Travel Agency in Harrisburg Magazine's Readers' Poll. Boscov’s Travel operates five offices in Central Pennsylvania including Colonial Park Mall in Harrisburg, Camp Hill Shopping Mall in Camp Hill, Lebanon Valley Mall in Lebanon, Susquehanna Valley Mall in Selinsgrove, and Park City Center in Lancaster. Berks County residents recognized their local Boscov’s Travel branches as “Reader’s Choice” Travel Agency in Reading Eagle’s Reader’s Poll. Boscov’s Travel operates two offices in Berks County; Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing and Reading Mall in Exeter.

Boscov’s Travel announced a donation of $970 to 2017 Relay for Life events. Raised by travel agents and corporate employees located at the organization’s headquarters within Boscov’s at the Reading Mall, the donation will be given to two teams in the local area during annual Relay for Life events for Exeter and Western Berks. The money is raised throughout the year during ‘Jeans Friday’ when employees make a $1 donation each week to Relay for Life to wear jeans to work.
“We are proud of our employees who make the choice to donate week after week to the local chapters of Relay for Life,” said Pat Cinfici, President of Boscov’s Travel. “Over the past three years, we have raised over $2,000 for Relay for Life efforts. I speak for our entire team when I say that we are happy to be able to support the local community that supports our business.”
Boscov’s Travel employees have been proactive in raising funds for cancer research and support. Employees from Reading, PA have raised funds and walked in the Susan G. Komen 3-day, and in 2013, employees raised $12,000 to provide medical support to a colleague with cancer. This is the third year that the company has offered ‘Jeans Friday.’ In total, $2,230 has been raised since implementing ‘Jeans Friday’ in 2015. Two Boscov’s Travel employees represent two local chapters of the organization and participated in the Relay for Life event in Exeter (this past weekend) and will participate in the Western Berks event on June 16th and 17th.
